On 11 and 12 February WEGO2! partners from Bulgaria, Spain, Italy and Bulgaria met in Karditsa to get acquainted with the local Women's Empowerment Network and to discuss the next steps in the project.

Honor-related crimes are almost unknown in our country. However, it turns out that for some citizens of Bulgaria this is part of their everyday life. This was made clear at a press conference on "Social and legal action to combat honor related abuse" project on February 4.
The legislation lacks a definition of abuse or violence in the name of honor and a data collection system. This is to review the project in the next two years. Leading partner in the project is Center for Sustainable Communities Development. The other two partners are KUN Center for Equality and Diversity, Norway and Women Lawyers Association, Bulgaria.
On December 10, 11 and 12, a partnership meeting was held on the RAISE Youth project, which was attended by representatives of all partners in Zagreb, Croatia. The project participants from the 4 countries - Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania and Spain discussed their experiences so far, planned future project activities and shared their methods of reaching the main target group - NEETs.
A number of young people, regional media and local authorities attended the press conference of the Center for Sustainable Communities Development in the United Children's Complex in Pernik on December 3rd in connection with the launch of the RAISE Youth project .
