Last weekend a workshop aimed at tourist routes initiated by trainers in tourism, Blagovesta Tchifligarova and in storytelling, Krasimir Stoichkov took place at RAISE YOUTH Centre at Breznik.
RAISE YOUTH Centre, Breznik hosted last week its first youth event – RANGE.
Ten young women from Trun and Breznik took part in the embroidery training organized at the regional youth center RAISE Youth. Under the watchful eye of their trainer Gergina Shlyomskaya, they created bracelets, necklaces, various jewelry, cards, calendars, etc., which have become a real delight for the eye of anyone who peeks to see them.
This shows a nationally representative study of the population on the basis of face-to-face interviews and in-depth interviews with experts, conducted by Association “Korektivi” under the „Social and legal action to combat honour related abuse“ project. Here are the details:
On July 30, 31 and August 1, a training of local labor mediators on the BRIGHT project was held in Montana. It was attended by 17 women, including health mediators from 5 municipalities in Montana region, youth mediators, representatives of the Montana District Administration - specialists in regional development and gender equality, representatives of the Local Commission for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings, representatives of NGOs, the Municipal Council on Narcotic Substances and other institutions.
In April, Association Korektivi prepared an analytical report with the results of a survey conducted among experts through in-depth interviews.
The main questions that interested the researchers were what the experts meant by honour related abuses; what are the risk factors for the spread of honour related abuses, what is the assessment of experts on the level of spread of the phenomenon in the country, as well as to describe the socio-demographic profile of risk groups, to examine the opinion of experts on interaction, awareness and readiness to work on such cases and finally to summarize the recommendations received.
The torrential rain on Saturday morning, July 18, did not frighten nearly 50 people who came to support the grand opening of the RAISE Youth Center and wished success to the young people who will work and raise in it. Among those present were Mrs. Daniela Vladimirova, Deputy Mayor of Zemen Municipality and Stoyan Stoyanov, Secretary of Zemen Municipality. They not only expressed their greetings and readiness for support, but also stressed how talented today's youth is.
