The Regional Youth Center - Breznik organized the second part of embroidery training, which was held in United Children's Complex Pernik.
It was attended by 15 young people aged 18 to 29 from the Pernik region. Among the participants were representatives of the youth organization of the Bulgarian Red Cross - Pernik.
The training, consisting of theoretical and practical part, was led by Gergina Shlomska. During the course, young people with interest learned the basics of hand embroidery and embroidery.
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Bulgarian Red Cross, the young people participated in the production of keychains, cards and magnets with the logo of the organization.
The finished products during the two days of the training will be donated by the Regional Youth Center - Breznik to the Regional Council of the Bulgarian Red Cross - Pernik for sale in charity initiatives and campaigns.
The RAISE Youth project, implemented by the Center for Sustainable Communities Development, covers over 500 young people aged between 18 and 29, living in the municipalities of Pernik, Breznik, Trun, Radomir, Zemen and Kovachevtsi, who are neither working nor studying at the moment. Within its framework, they undergo various trainings in career and personal development, and the most active 20 participants will be provided with additional training and mentoring assistance to start their own business.
