The team of the International Youth Center in Pernik also presented the main goal of its project and its guidelines for work. They are expressed in the construction of appropriate infrastructure and introduction of effective measures and activities aimed at social inclusion and personal development of young people aged 15 to 29 in the municipality of Pernik, with a special focus on vulnerable groups.
The center in the regional city will develop various educational, cultural and civic initiatives, joint activities and exchange of experience with other youth centers in the country and abroad. Among the innovative future activities are the creation of a "School of Folklore", the construction of a cafe-library with an ethno corner, a hall for non-traditional arts such as origami, decoupage, carving and more.
