This Saturday, at the office of the "Center Dinamika” Association , certificates were presented to the 6 girls for assistant educators/babysitters.
They also successfully completed courses in entrepreneurship and first aid.
It is expected that after a few months the "Veselushko22" agency will be registered and start working first on the territory of the city, and after time also on the region. Over the past few months, the girls have been actively working under the guidance of Diana Georgieva, an expert in economic empowerment of women who have experienced intimate partner violence at the Center for Sustainable Communities Development, Sofia.
Their active partners during the training course were the Bulgarian Red Cross, Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB) - Ruse and "Center Dinamika” Association. At the certificate awarding ceremony, Mrs. Deana Dimova from the "Dinamika Center" expressed her satisfaction with the work of the young women, some of whom have passed through the Center as its clients.
"Today we are together to move forward through the next challenges that life will throw at us. I always say that through difficulties, we become stronger, braver, more responsible and move forward", she said!
The ladies were also congratulated by Ms. Leman Ahmed and Boyanka Dimitrova, regional coordinator of CITUB for the Ruse region.
“You made an impact on me! I will empathize and help you with every single thing you decide to do! You can count on me as a friend!" added Mrs. Dimitrova.
Irina, Ioana, Simona, Filiz, Marina and Damla are expected to start meeting with their future clients next year.
The initiative was implemented with the support of the WEGO3 project - from individual IPVs empowerment to community activation. You can see more about the project here - https://www.wegoproject.eu/ , and about its implementation in Bulgaria here https://cscd-bg.org/en/projects/proekt-wego-3 .
