The partners from Bulgaria, Greece, France and Italy gathered at the beginning of July to discuss the work done so far and future steps within the project.
Each of them presented one measure to help women who have experienced intimate partner violence. Organizations will test it in each of the countries. For Bulgaria, this is the creation of a social enterprise in which survivors of domestic violence can work as babysitters and educators.
One of the main highlights of the meeting was the creation of the so-called "White paper" in each of the countries. The idea is that it will be created thanks to a long process of participation by all organizations and will contain information about the project and its goals, as well as detailed information about the issue of economic empowerment of women victims of domestic violence. The White paper will also include statistical and regulatory information, as well as the problem resolution process. The methodology of the policy labs that were conducted under the WEGO3 project will also be included.
Of course, it will also present the experience of each of the organizations in implementing the relevant measure to help women. The document is expected to be completed by the end of the year, after which it will be presented at the European level.
During the partner visit in Athens, a meeting was held with the evaluators of the WEGO3 project.
