"Interaction between institutions in resolving cases of domestic violence" was the topic of the conference organized by the Faculty of Law of the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev". It was held on November 26 in connection with the 16 days against violence against women.
CSCD expert and and PhD student at the University of Ruse, spoke on the topic of economic empowerment of women who have experienced domestic violence as a way out of a violent relationship. She presented the project materials including the upcoming brochure on women's labor rights and told in detail about the previous edition of the project - WEGO2 during which the Territorial Protocol for Cooperation in Ruse was signed. The Bulgarian partner also organized a hackathon for economic empowerment of women survivors of domestic violence together with the University of Ruse.
Deana Dimova, Director of Association Center Dinamika, Ruse, who is a long-term partner with CSCD, within the WEGO projects, also took part in the conference. Panelists of the event were also representatives of antiviolence centers police, prosecutors, assistants at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, lecturers at the University and others.
