During the final conference of the WEGO3 project, Prof. Ani Popova from Ruse University presented a congratulatory address to the project manager from ActionAid, Italy.
It was on behalf of the rector of the Ruse University, academician Prof. Hristo Belchev. It emphasizes the importance and relevance of economic empowerment. The management of the university also thanked for the opportunity to be a part of the project and declared readiness to continue the partnership.
Ruse University “Angel Kunchev” is one of the few Bulgarian universities with a developed and implemented equality plan, which actively supports local systems for combating domestic violence.
