The team of the Regional Youth Center "RAISE Youth" started consecutive meetings with the municipal authorities from Pernik District - Breznik, Trun, Zemen, Radomir, Kovachevtsi and Pernik. The aim is to acquaint the local authorities with the planned activities of the Center for Sustainable Communities Development (CSCD) and the RYC in 2021.

The first meeting was held on February 3 with Mrs. Daniela Vladimirova, Deputy Mayor of Zemen Municipality. At the meeting, she pledged to disseminate information on planned training in the field of young people between the ages of 18 and 29, who neither work nor study.

Ms. Vladimirova clarified that the municipality has always responded and will continue to respond in organizing events and activities aimed at the younger generation and promoting it to personal initiative and business development.

The inclusion of the RAISE Youth team in the events of the cultural calendar of the municipality was also discussed, such as the exhibition "Fertility Day" and the National competition "From the furrow to the table - the long road to bread."

For their part, RYC and CSCD are preparing this year to hold courses in tapestry sewing, sustainable agriculture, cultivated herbalism, beekeeping, digital marketing, etc., as well as farmers' markets, e-shop and tourist site, which will focus specifically on Pernik district.

There are also trainings for 20 selected boys and girls between the ages of 18 and 29, who have an idea for their own business and the desire to realize it. Special trainings in finance, accounting, marketing and business plan development will be organized for them.
